Recently, I’ve come across a host of amazing blog posts. I’ve decided to take a few days to share these great works, such as this one from Taoist Path.“Meditation does not require us to sit,” writes Taoist blogger Pedram on taoistpath.com. “It doesn’t require special clothing, nor does it necessarily require us to consciously breathe in any way.” These aren’t meditation: They are just techniques.
According to Pedram, all the focus on how meditation should be done only confuses people about what meditation really is. Meditation, he says, happens outside the mind. It is all about “letting ourselves BE the pure consciousness that we are.”
Being pure consciousness. What a beautiful thought.
Beautiful blog post at taoistpath … thank you, Jill, for sharing it here. It explains why many of the moments most profoundly healing for my soul come when I least expect them …
It is a lovely post, isn’t it? They have a wonderful blog.
